Laser Line Projectors

Laser line projectors draw a bright, sharp line of light on the floor — a walkway edge, a forklift keep-out zone, a stop line at a dock door — with no tape or paint to wear off: a laser alternative to warehouse floor marking that never needs repainting. Choose a fixed line for a ceiling or wall, or a vehicle-mounted light that moves with the forklift or AGV. Order online, with quantity discounts that start at two units.

How a laser line projector works

A laser diode shines through a lens that spreads the beam into a shape — a straight line, an arrow, a circle or an arch — and lays it on the floor. Because the light is concentrated, the shape stays crisp and readable in a working warehouse, and because nothing touches the floor, there is nothing for wheels to scuff or cleaners to lift. Mounted overhead, a line marks a permanent zone. Mounted on a vehicle, the shape travels with it and warns people on foot before the vehicle reaches them.

Where each one fits: forklifts, AGVs and pedestrian crossings

  • Forklift laser warning lights: a moving boundary around the truck so pickers keep their distance — see the Forklift Safety Zone System (turns red and speaks when a person steps in) and the Forklift Boundary Light Kit (always-on LED lines).
  • AGV and AMR lasers: an arrow or block arrow ahead of a driverless vehicle shows which way it is about to go; a circle marks the space it needs.
  • Pedestrian safety lights at crossings and walkways: a fixed line from the ceiling marks where people cross a vehicle aisle — the Laser Safety Line Projector runs lines up to 4× its mounting height.
  • Dock doors and staging lanes: a stop line or lane edge at each door; pair it with a radar or camera sensor so it lights only when a truck or person is there.
  • Bumper zones: an arch in front of a reach truck or tow tractor marks the stay-clear area at the working end.
  • Scissor lifts and job sites: a SafeGuide line around the base keeps people out from under a raised platform.

How to choose a laser line projector: shape, color and line length

  • Line — for edges, lanes and boundaries. The SafeGuide Adjustable changes length on site with a twist ring (up to about 2× the mounting height); the SafeGuide Fixed keeps one factory-set length for less. For long aisles from a ceiling, the Laser Safety Line Projector (10–40 W) reaches further.
  • Arrow — for direction of travel on AGVs, AMRs and small forklifts.
  • Circle — for a keep-out ring around a vehicle or a fixed hazard. About 95 cm across at 1 m mounting height, 2.2 m at 2 m, 3.2 m at 3 m.
  • Arch — for a curved bumper zone in front of a vehicle.
  • Color: red reads as stop or danger, green as a safe path, blue stands apart from existing floor paint. Green looks brightest to the eye. On most units the color is set at the factory and cannot be changed later, so decide before ordering.
  • Brightness: a laser is brightest when the line is narrow. On a bright floor, keep the line thin and the mounting height reasonable; for very high ceilings, choose a higher-wattage Laser Safety Line.

Mounting and power: forklifts, AGVs, walls and ceilings

Vehicle-mounted units wire straight to the vehicle’s battery. The SafeGuide lines and the circle and arch lights run on DC 10–80 V, so they suit 12 to 80 V trucks; the arrow and block arrow run on 12 or 24 V DC only. Each product page lists its exact range. On a ceiling, column or wall, those units need a plug-in DC power supply — add it as an option on the product page. The Laser Safety Line Projector plugs straight into a standard outlet (110–240 V) and is built for fixed mounting.

Each unit mounts on its own bracket, shown on its product page, and tilts to aim. Measure the mounting height first: it decides how big the line or shape will be on the floor, and each product page has a size chart.

Frequently asked questions

What is a laser line projector?

A light that projects a sharp line or shape — a line, arrow, circle or arch — onto the floor to mark walkways, forklift zones and hazards without tape or paint.

Can a laser line be seen in a bright warehouse?

Yes, when it is sized correctly. A narrow line is brighter than a wide one, and a lower mounting height makes it brighter. For high ceilings or very bright floors, choose a higher-wattage Laser Safety Line Projector.

Which laser lights mount on a forklift?

The SafeGuide Adjustable and Fixed lines, the circle and arch lights, the Forklift Safety Zone System and the Forklift Boundary Light Kit all wire to the vehicle battery. The SafeGuide, circle and arch run on DC 10–80 V; the arrow and block arrow on 12 or 24 V DC. Each product page lists its range.

Can I mount a vehicle laser on a wall or ceiling?

Yes. Add the plug-in DC power supply option on the product page. For long lines from a ceiling, the Laser Safety Line Projector plugs straight into a standard outlet.

Which color should I choose?

Red for stop and danger zones, green for safe walkways and paths, blue where it must stand apart from existing floor paint. Green appears brightest. The color is usually set at the factory, so choose before ordering.

How big will the line or shape be?

It grows with mounting height. A SafeGuide line runs up to about 2× its height; the Laser Safety Line Projector runs about 1.8× to 4× its height depending on wattage; a circle is about 95 cm across at 1 m, 2.2 m at 2 m and 3.2 m at 3 m. Each product page has its own chart.

Can the light switch on only when someone is there?

Yes. A radar or camera detection sensor can switch a fixed laser on when a vehicle or person approaches, and the Forklift Safety Zone System has its own infrared sensors that turn its line red and sound a voice alarm.

What is a forklift laser warning light?

A laser mounted on the forklift that projects a line, arrow, circle or arch on the floor around or ahead of the truck, so people on foot see where it is going before it reaches them.

What is the best laser light for an AGV or AMR?

An arrow or block arrow laser shows the direction of travel ahead of a driverless vehicle, and a circle laser marks the space it needs. The arrow and block arrow run on 12 or 24 V DC.

Can a laser line replace painted or taped floor marking?

It marks walkways, crossings and keep-out zones with light instead of tape or paint, so nothing wears off under wheels or cleaning. Many sites use it alongside existing floor markings; check your local safety rules.

What power does a ceiling-mounted pedestrian safety light need?

The Laser Safety Line Projector plugs into a standard 110–240 V outlet. Vehicle lasers mounted on a wall or ceiling need the plug-in DC power supply option.

Do you offer quantity discounts?

Yes. Discounts apply automatically in the cart from two units, rising with quantity, so fitting out a whole fleet or building costs less per unit.
