Nightclubs, DJs & Event Production Projection Solutions
Transform spaces with light, motion & projection
In nightlife and event production, the environment is everything. Whether it's a nightclub, DJ set, private party, or large-scale production, the ability to create a high-energy, immersive atmosphere is what defines the experience.
Projection lets DJs, venues, and production teams transform any space using light, motion, and custom visuals. Unlike lighting alone, projection adds branding, dynamic effects, and the flexibility to adapt the environment in real time throughout the night.
At Infinity Projectors, we provide LED logo projectors and custom gobo systems built for nightlife and production — designed for durability, flexibility, and high visibility in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is a gobo projector used in nightclubs or DJ setups?
It projects a custom image, logo, or pattern onto a dance floor, wall, or ceiling — used to display DJ logos or event branding, add dynamic visuals to crowd areas, enhance lighting with patterns and motion, and create a more immersive, high-energy environment, often alongside traditional lighting.
Can projection be used with DJ lighting and production setups?
Yes. It works alongside DJ lighting rigs, moving heads and effects lighting, LED walls and screens, and full event production setups — complementing them with branding, patterns, and motion-based visuals.
Can I use multiple designs with one projector?
Yes. Multi-lens projectors (2, 4, 6, or 8 lens) let you switch between designs using a remote or automation, and rotate through visuals — ideal for DJs and venues that want flexibility without changing hardware.
Is projection a digital system, or do visuals change instantly?
Projection is not a digital screen. Each design is a physical glass gobo containing the image, so changing the projection means swapping the gobo — which produces a much sharper, brighter result than digital projection.
Can I order additional custom gobos?
Yes, at any time. Typical turnaround is 1–2 weeks — ideal for DJs and venues running multiple events and building a library of designs. Each order includes 2 FREE custom gobos to start.
Are projectors portable for mobile DJs and production teams?
Yes. They're easy to transport, quick to set up and adjust, and need no permanent installation — ideal for teams working across multiple venues.
How long can projectors run during an event?
Commercial-grade projectors are designed for event use and typically run about 8–10 hours per day — suitable for full-night events, club operation, and extended DJ sets.
Can projection be used for sponsor branding or promotions?
Yes — for sponsor logos, promotional messaging, and branded visuals during events. Multi-lens systems let you rotate through multiple sponsors or messages.
What wattage does a club or DJ gobo projector need?
In a dark room, modest wattage goes far: from our wattage chart, roughly 30–35W covers a 13-foot throw, 60–65W reaches 20 feet, and 100–110W reaches 26 feet. If your room runs haze and bright moving lights, treat it as an average-light space and step up a tier — about 50–55W at 13 feet and 80–90W at 20 feet. Pick the wattage for your biggest regular room and it will look even punchier everywhere smaller.
How much does it cost to run projection all night?
Pennies per event — a 100W projector over a 10-hour night uses about 1 kilowatt-hour, roughly 17 cents at typical US electricity rates (~$0.17/kWh). Even running every open night adds only a few dollars a month, which is why venues just leave it in the show: compared with the rest of a club's lighting rig, projection is effectively free to operate.
