Wedding & Special Event Projection Solutions
Create unforgettable moments with custom projection
Weddings are deeply personal — every detail reflects a couple's style and story. Projection brings those elements together, displaying custom monograms, names and designs in a way that feels elegant, refined and memorable.
Special events demand flexibility. Projection lets hosts and planners customize the environment in real time — changing messaging, enhancing themes and creating a polished look without physical signage, keeping the space clean and uncluttered.
At Infinity Projectors, we provide custom gobo projectors and logo projection systems designed specifically for weddings and special events — indoors or outdoors.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a wedding gobo projector?
A lighting system that projects a custom single- or full-color design — names, initials or a monogram — onto a dance floor, wall or ceiling to personalize the event and create elegant, high-end visual effects.
What can be projected at a wedding or special event?
Monograms and initials, names or custom designs, welcome messages, decorative patterns, and event branding for private or corporate events — so each event feels unique.
Is the projection digital, or can it be changed instantly?
It's not a digital screen. Each design is a physical glass gobo, swapped to change the image — which produces a much sharper, brighter, more professional result than digital projection.
Can I order additional custom gobos?
Yes, at any time. Turnaround is typically 1–2 weeks, and multiple gobos let you change designs for different parts of the event. Each order includes 2 FREE custom gobos.
Can the projection rotate or spin?
Yes. Static mode is most common for monograms (clean and elegant); rotating (spin) mode adds subtle motion or more dynamic visuals.
Where can projection be used at a wedding?
Throughout the venue — dance floors, walls and ceilings, entrances and walkways, reception areas, and outdoor spaces — for a cohesive visual experience.
Can projection be used outdoors?
Yes. Outdoor-rated (IP65) projectors are commonly used for weddings for their higher brightness and durability — ideal for outdoor venues, tents and open-air settings.
Can projection replace traditional décor?
It can enhance or replace certain décor elements — adding visual impact without physical items, keeping the space uncluttered, and letting you change designs without replacing materials.
Do you help with design and setup?
Yes — custom gobo design support, guidance on projector selection, and recommendations for placement and setup, so your projection looks exactly as intended.
How do wedding monogram gobos work?
A monogram gobo is a glass disc with your initials, names, or wedding date designed into it. It slides into a compact projector that casts the design in light onto the dance floor, a wall, or the ceiling — the glowing centerpiece you see in wedding photos. You choose the style (script, florals, frames), we produce the gobo to match, and on the day it's plug in, aim, done. After the wedding, the gobo is yours to keep.
Is it cheaper to buy a gobo projector than to rent one for a wedding?
Often, yes — a single night's rental with a custom monogram can cost as much as owning a compact projector outright, and when you buy, the projector and your monogram gobo are yours for anniversaries, parties, and home celebrations afterwards. Buying also means you get the exact design you want, with time to proof it properly, instead of whatever the rental house has on hand. If you'll ever use it twice, owning usually wins.
What size will the monogram be on our dance floor?
Multiply the lens number by the mounting distance: with the standard 0.33 lens, a projector 15 feet up makes a monogram about 5 feet across — a beautiful scale for a typical dance floor. Mount closer for a tighter mark, or choose a different lens for a bigger one. Tell us your ceiling height and we'll spec the exact lens so it lands perfectly.
Can we reuse the projector and gobo after the wedding?
Absolutely — you own both. Couples reuse the projector for anniversaries, holiday patterns, house parties, and even business branding, and you can order new gobos for the same projector whenever a new occasion comes up. It's one of the best arguments for buying instead of renting: the magic doesn't end at midnight.
What wattage do we need for a wedding monogram?
For a dimmed reception with a 10–16 foot throw, 20–55W is typically plenty — from our wattage chart, about 20–25W at 10 feet and 50–55W at 16 feet. In a hall that stays brighter through the night, step up a tier: roughly 30–35W at 10 feet and 60–65W at 16 feet. Tell us your mounting height and how the room will be lit and we'll spec it exactly — the right wattage for your room, never an oversized unit you don't need.
Is it safe for guests to dance in the projection light?
Completely — it's ordinary focused LED light, the same family as stage lighting. Guests moving through the beam just cast brief shadows (which looks genuinely magical over a dance floor), and the projected monogram is safe to look at, walk over, and photograph all night. The only courtesy rule is the same as for any bright fixture: don't stare directly into the lens up close.
