The entry point to the whole range, and honest about it.
The Mini Beam is a compact bracket-mounted projector that projects one static design onto a nearby surface. 7W, from $188.80, with two free full-color custom gobos.
7W and 12W are the smallest projectors we make, and we would rather tell you where they stop than sell you one that disappoints.
These are for small, genuinely dim interiors at short range. A dark corner, a small dim room, a display, a short throw onto an unlit wall — and it is a genuinely good way to see what projected branding does before committing to a larger fixture.
They are not the right choice for commercial work where the projection has to carry. A hotel lobby, a restaurant with real lighting, a retail floor, a reception a client walks into, a showroom, an atrium, anything lit for merchandise or anything you would call high end — those need more wattage, and specifying 7W there produces a faint, washed-out projection that reflects badly on the brand it is showing.
For that work, use:
If your specification calls for a particular brightness or a particular projection size, match the wattage to the specification rather than to the price. We would rather sell you the right fixture once.
Plenty of people buy a Mini Beam to find out whether projected branding suits them at all — and that is a reasonable thing to do at this price. Put one in a dark room, put your logo on the wall, and see how people react to it.
Just size the real installation on its own merits afterwards. What a 7W does in a dark room is not what the same design will do in a lit lobby, and the honest answer is usually a larger fixture in the real space. Nothing is wasted — the gobo artwork we prepare for you carries straight over.
Lens number × distance = image width. At this size the projects are short by design:
You can push the distance further, but brightness falls away quickly at 7W — which is the whole point of the section above. If the throw is longer than about 10 ft, or there is any real light on the surface, step up the wattage.
This is a static projector: one design, held perfectly still. It does not rotate and it does not hold multiple gobos. For rotation or several designs on a cycle, see the multi-gobo range.
Even at this size, two custom full-color gobos are included free, made from your own artwork. Send a logo file, a sign file or a photo of existing signage — our team prepares it for projection at no charge and sends a proof before anything is cut. Order more any time — these take a 30 mm gobo, which is smaller than the 37 mm the rest of the range uses, so specify the size when you reorder.
This is an indoor fixture. For anything outdoors, covered entrances included, use the outdoor range, which is IP65 and built to stay out.
Freight is included free to just about anywhere in the world. Fitting out several rooms or several sites? Send the list through the quote form. Mix Match & Save covers smaller multi-unit orders.
30 mm — smaller than the 37 mm used across most of the Infinity range. Worth noting when you reorder: a 37 mm gobo will not fit. Order replacements from custom gobos and specify 30 mm.
Only if the space is genuinely dim and the throw is short. 7W and 12W are the smallest projectors we make. For a hotel lobby, a lit restaurant, a retail floor, a reception or a showroom, it is not enough — use the Indoor range or the Stealth Embedded instead, and check it with the Wattage Finder first.
Only in a genuinely dark part of one. Anywhere lit for guests — a lobby, a dining room, a reception — needs more wattage. A faint projection reflects on the brand it is showing, which is the opposite of the point.
The projection washes out. There is no setting that recovers it and no lens that fixes it — brightness comes from wattage. This is the single most common mistake at this price point, and it is why we have put the warning at the top of the page rather than the bottom.
Lens × distance — short by design at this size. Beyond about 10 ft the image is larger but noticeably dimmer, so treat that as the practical limit unless the room is very dark.
No. It is static and holds one gobo. For rotation or a cycle of designs, see the multi-gobo range.
Two, free, in full color and made from your own artwork, with a proof before anything is cut — the same as every other projector we sell.
No, it is indoor only. For anything outdoors, including covered entrances, use the outdoor range.
It is a reasonable way to see the effect for yourself at low cost. Just size the real installation on its own merits afterwards — and the gobo artwork we prepare carries straight over to a larger fixture, so nothing is wasted.
1–2 weeks including your custom gobos.
Even the smallest fixture proves the point: a dark wall is unused space, and light turns it into a sign that changes in two minutes. Start small if you like — just be honest about how dark the room really is. Join The Projection Revolution ∞
