How much wattage do I need?
Brighter rooms and longer throws need more wattage to stay sharp. Use this as a quick sizing guide, then confirm with the Projector Finder. Rule of thumb: when in doubt, size up — headroom keeps the image crisp.

Which lens — and what it costs
The lens sets how big the image is at a given distance: projected width ≈ throw distance × lens value. Lower number = bigger, wider image up close; higher number = tighter, brighter image from far away.

Every projector includes a standard lens at no charge. Swapping to a different throw lens is a flat upgrade (typically +$100, varies by model). Multi-image prism lenses and lens packages (3-lens $238 · 5-lens $338) are available on any unit.
Custom & additional gobos
The gobo is the image your projector casts — your logo or artwork, cut to spec. Every projector ships with 2 free full-color custom gobos. Need more designs, or stocking up for multiple sites? Additional gobos are priced per piece and get cheaper the more you order.

Prices are per additional gobo (standard sizes up to 54 mm). Large-format gobos (66–100 mm) are priced separately. A one-time $50 art & handling charge applies to custom gobo orders.
Projection angle & distance
Width grows with distance and a wider lens. To go bigger: move the projector back or drop to a lower-number lens. To go tighter & brighter: move closer or step up to a long-throw lens. Keep the projector square to the surface to avoid keystone distortion.
Lumens & brightness
Lumens measure raw light output — more lumens means a brighter, more daylight-capable image. Pair high lumens with high wattage for large or sunlit spaces. In dark venues, a lower-wattage unit reads beautifully.
Indoor vs. outdoor (IP rating)
IP65 / IP66 units are sealed against dust and water — rated for permanent outdoor install on buildings, signage and exteriors. Indoor units are not weatherproof. For any exterior job, specify an outdoor/IP-rated model.
Gobo types
1-color (single-color, lowest cost), full-color (glass, photographic detail), animated / rotating, and multi-gobo (4/6/8 designs per unit). Every projector ships with 2 free custom gobos — your logo, cut to spec.
